The Role:
It is an exciting time here at City Plumbing. We‘ve recently become a stand alone business with private-equity backing, committing to significantly grow our Energy Efficiency proposition inline with the UK’s decarbonisation strategy.

To do this we’re looking to employ aEnergy Efficiency Strategy Lead to work closely with our Business Development Director and Marketing team, identifying and delivering end to end services across a broad range of customer sectors.

The role requires a deep understanding of the current renewables and energy efficiency markets, so you’ll be expected to keep on top of legislation changes and develop a good understanding of the competitor, customer and supplier landscape.

**Areas of focus include:

- Work closely with ourEnergy Efficiency management team to support the development and execute market programmes across a range of customer sectors that will drive commercial growth. (this could be across sectors such as New Builds, Social Housing, Installers,or Branch Networks, etc).
- Identify potential external partners who can add value and enhance our end-to-end proposition.
- Support on our future products and services that respond to our customer’s needs and incoming market changes.
- Learn and identify the various routes to market, taking control of the EE proposition and customer journey.
- Work with the wider EE team to encourage a growth mindset and capitalise on any opportunities across our products and services.

**This is a hybrid-based role with travel to team and business meetings.

You must be based in the UK and our Head Office is based in Crick, Northamptonshire.

This means you could be from areas such as Blackburn, Bolton, Bradford, Burnley, Buxton, Chester, Doncaster, Halifax, Harrogate, Huddersfield, Leeds, Liverpool, Macclesfield, Manchester, Oldham, Preston, Rochdale, Rochdale, Rotheram, Sheffield, Stockport,Stretford, York.

Required skills and competencies:

- Must possess experience within the Renewable Energy/Sustainable Heating sector.
- Some level of experience in a consulting/commercial role would be beneficial.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards in Energy Efficiency.
- Possess a proactive work ethic and be able to inspire those around you.
