*on target earnings rate is inclusive of a bonus potential up to £8,000

what does a senior sous chef at wagamama do?
- depending on the shift you work, you may start as early as 7am or finish as late as midnight. you will work an average of 9.6 hours per shift
- create a positive kitchen environment where your team feel welcomed + cared for
- share your passion + knowledge of wagamama food, ingredients + cooking techniques with your whole team
- work alongside your head chef to train the whole team to ensure quality + consistency in every dish served
- manage the line effectively to ensure all food is delivered on time, meeting demands of service
- deal with guest feedback + implement appropriate action plans, spotting opportunities to improve the teams performance
- you support your head chef to effectively control gross profit + labour budgets
- you understand the business, it's goals + objectives
- ensure your kitchen is always clean + safe for your team + guests
- you make sure you follow food safety and health + safety standards throughout your shift
- you work with your head chef to manage the maintenance + upkeep of your kitchen
