Interim Fixed Asset Accountant

Robertson Bell are pleased to be supporting a well-established, multi-faceted, public-sector organisation to recruit an interim Fixed Asset Accountant on an initial three-month contract.
This is a hybrid role which requires travel twice per week into one of our clients office locations, with the primary site being South London.
The interim Fixed Asset Accountant will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the organisations extensive Fixed Asset Register, ensuring depreciation and the disposal of assets is accurately accounted for.
- Supporting the financial accounts team through the audit period, ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet and providing accurate fixed asset notations.
- Assisting the finance business partners by sharing robust financia information relating to depreciation forecasts and disposal projections.
- Undertaking project work, striving to improve fixed asset related systems and processes.
- Be an experienced Fixed Asset Accountant, comfortable taking ownership for sizeable, complex, asset registers.
- Have strong working knowledge of Oracle, ideally Oracle Cloud.
- Possess strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
This contract has been deemed Inside IR35 and will be paid via an Umbrella Company.
