Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Coordinator to come and join our brilliant team. As a Bid Coordinator, you will lead the bid strategy and successful bid winning for your designated area of the business; Advisory Services. We can be flexible on location as this is a hybrid role but either our Gateshead or Manchester office would be ideal. We are offering a competitive salary of between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on skills and experience.

Main Responsibilities
- Deliver on area targets and objectives for the Bids team including, maintaining our 50% win rate
- Developing area bid strategy to support growth and collaborating with New Business team to target in-area opportunities
- Weekly reporting to Bids team lead on current bids, awards, outstanding bids
- Develop win themes and strategy for bids
- Leading on bid/no-bid, kick off, quality and price review meetings
- Producing bid content
- Reviewing pricing and content produced for bids and proposals
- Attending bid interviews and clarification meetings where applicable
- Debriefing and lessons learned analysis for continuous improvement and feedback to the Bids team lead and Directors
- Update of bid resources, response library, CV’s and case studies, references
- Update of bids horizon with information from all sources i.e. tender notifications, business intelligence
- Providing support for proposals and quotations
- Work collaboratively with all business departments to ensure that the Bids team has access to the latest information to support the bid process
- Previous experience of bid writing and the coordination process
- A Full and Valid UK Driving Licence
- Knowledge of the UK Environmental Consultancy market is preferable
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines
- Excellent customer management and dynamic communication skills - written, verbal, visual/presentation
