Complete HGV Solutions Group is an award-winning commercial vehicle repair body shop. We work with all the major UK insurers and numerous blue-chip businesses, to keep their cars, vans and trucks on the road. We are looking for a Vehicle Parts Controller to join our growing support team at the head office in Hoddesdon.

The team works hard in a very fast paced industry to make sure that the customer is always happy with the repairs to their vehicle. It is a fun and friendly team who work closely to ensure that the jobs are carried out thoroughly.

The Role
- Assist with ordering commercial vehicle parts and materials for a repair
- carry out stock takes and maintain an inventory
- arrange returns and refunds.
- Looking after the impressed stock of consumables and re-ordering when necessary
- keeping all purchases within the set monthly budget.
- Keeping the stock department tidy
- Inspect items for quality, damage, or overall performance

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily parts co-ordination of both internal and stock delivered.
- Update parts ordering system.
- Make sure all parts delivered to the site are checked off against the parts list for accuracy of order, correct parts, quantity, accidental damage and overall quality.
- Ensure all relevant documentation for your department is correctly filled out and delivered to the designated departments on time.
- Carry out monthly stock checks, which reconcile back to usage and suppliers' invoices.
- Monitor and control resources within the parts department.
- Work within internal procedures to achieve targets set out by your line manager.
- Communicate to the Workshop Controller and General Manager of any potential delays to a parts order arriving on site.
- Input all parts delivery information into the Management system, and pass through all paperwork to the accounts department.

**Skills and experience**:

- Flexibility dealing with changes in demand, tasks, and processes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Computer literate.
- Work on own initiative, be proactive and manage customers and workload with little intervention from the management team.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.

In addition, they will support & perform ad hoc duties for the Managing Director and General Managers
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential, Some understanding of the repairs and work required to fit the parts would be advantageous
- Wide Format printing experience desirable but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A polite and courteous telephone manner is essential as the role will involve speaking with parts suppliers and customers
- A Problem solver with experience in design realisation
- Exceptional organisational, time management & prioritising skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Be prepared to handle various size parts to move around our Bodyshop and into storage

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
