We’re looking for an **Investment Compliance Associate** to join our Compliance and Ethics team.
This position will primarily be supporting the team on developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with investment policies and procedures to ensure regulatory obligations are met. The Associate will have specific responsibility for compliance monitoring and testing, principally using Blackrock’s Aladdin system. This includes overseeing the resolution of pre and post trade compliance alerts and approving amendments to trade compliance restrictions.
The Associate will be a key contact within the team for investment compliance matters and will be able to provide detailed and understandable guidance chiefly to the Investment teams on compliance to regulatory requirements.
Our ideal applicant will hold a relevant Compliance/ Investment Qualification (e.g., ICA CFA/CISI) with experience from within a Financial Services environment, ideally a fund manager. Experience will include trade compliance monitoring and reporting, using Blackrock’s Aladdin system (or similar systems). This role requires an individual to be able to build rapport and trust with senior stakeholders, with the ability to translate knowledge into recommendations and influencing change to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
