People Support Assistant

A Yorkshire/Bradford social housing landlord are looking to for an experience People Support Assistant to join their growing People team. They are at the start of their 2 year strategy, so this is an exciting time to join the People Support team and be involvedin various projects to improve the service provide to customers and employees. Looking for a strong administrator, with good attention to detail that can come up with solutions and provide general advise across the business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Confidently act as first point of contact for all people related enquiries, thinking independently to resolve problems and queries and effectively triaging to the relevant member of the people team if required
- Provide a comprehensive, efficient, accurate and timely administrative support for the complete employee life cycle and People Support Team
- Give advice and guidance to managers on low level employee relations cases with a focus on sickness absence and family friendly policies and procedures
- Provide coaching, advice and guidance to employees on all policies and procedures
- Actively participate in the development of the People Team and the service that it provides to ensure efficiencies are maximised, putting the customer at the forefront of what we do by learning from feedback, and prioritising service improvements
- Support organisational changes including redundancy, TUPE, restructure, drafting legally compliant documentation to support the process including changes to terms and conditions and contracts of employment
- Undertake project work to support initiatives and drive change and improvements
- Manage and maintain all people information to ensure accurate and kept secure and confidential inline with our privacy statement and GDPR Policy
- High level of organisational skills, being able to balance competing priorities to meet strict deadlines and schedules
- Strong track record for delivering an excellent customer experience in relation to administration and support services
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent literacy and IT skills and the ability to use a variety of systems, including recording and processing data accurately and writing reports
- Experience working within agreed Key performance indicators (KPI's) in an people focused administrative role
- The ability to record and document information concisely and produce accurate reports
- CIPD level 3 (or a willingness to work towards) or have recent relevant experience in a similar role
