EP Commodities is part of the Energetický a průmyslový holding, as (EPH) group, which is a leading European energy group that owns and operates facilities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, France, Ireland, Poland and Hungary. EP Commodities, as primarily focuses on trading with energy commodities - natural gas, electricity, emission allowances, coal and other products.
EP Commodities, as (EPC) was established as a trading arm of EPH Group. The growth of our company goes hand in hand with the strong expansion of EPH. Besides proprietary trading activities, EPC is strongly focusing on dispatch, optimization and hedging of EPH Group's energy assets. We are currently opening a new position in our small but expanding **London office**, where, as a part of the international HR team, you will be responsible for the HR agenda and also for the smooth running of our office.
**Roles and responsibilities**
- Assist with all internal and external HR related administration, inquiries, or requests.
- Provide support to the HR Manager located in Prague and the hiring managers with interview logistics and organization.
- Maintain digital copies of employees' personnel records.
- Ensure the entire on-boarding process of new hires, including liaising with IT to ensure equipment set-up.
- Input data into HR Information System and ensure it remains up to date with any changes.
- Ensure the smooth on-boarding of new hires by liaising with IT to ensure required equipment is set-up.
- Support HR Manager with benefit administration and with processing of HR related invoices.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Payroll process - attendance report preparation.
- Audit preparation - HR related processes and documents.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Processing work trips and cost accounting management.
- Organization of mandatory training (health, safety and fire, security administration)
- Communication with external partners (insurance providers, occupational health scheme providers, etc.), local authorities and office building facility management.
**Qualification criteria**
- Strong experience of working in an administrative/supporting position working with highly sensitive and confidential information is essential, preferably within a HR department.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced company with changing priorities.
- Working knowledge of HR policy and practice, and proven understanding of employment law.
- Experience of working with Teamio is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and good time management.
- Team player able to work independently.
