As mentioned, my client are now seeking aPrincipal Embedded Firmware Engineer to join the team and help drive the next stage of growth.
As a Principal Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of firmware for my clients’ products. You will work closely with the hardware and software teams to design, implement, and test firmware that meets the requirementsfor performance, reliability, and functionality. You will also provide technical guidance to other firmware engineers on the team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design and development of firmware for products.
- Work closely with the hardware and software teams to ensure firmware meets system requirements.
- Ensure firmware is reliable, performant, and meets functional requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to other firmware engineers on the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to firmware design and implementation.
- Continuously improve firmware development processes and methodologies
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
- Experience with firmware development tools and debugging techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience leading firmware development projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
