F&b Assistant

The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington is seeking for a full-time F&B Assistant to take ownership for the areas within responsibility and focusing on presentation standards, customer service excellence, revenue generation and profitability.

**Key Information**:
Role: F&B Assistant

**Salary**: Up to £10.42 per hour

**Your Key focus will be**:

- To maximise client satisfaction by ensuring that the quality of service is maintained at the standards required within the Order Taker’s Station area.
- To encourage return custom through effective communication and positive teamwork and motivation of staff within the Order takers Station Area.
- To encourage an increase in average spends through effective communication with clients and active upselling.
- To liaise with the F&B Services Manager regarding service and any other information of relevance.
- To be responsible for taking food orders correctly and completely whilst being as informative as possible to the client.
- To be responsible for taking orders for beverages and ensuring that they are served correctly.
- To ensure station area is kept in a clean hygienic, tidy, neat state at all times and that mise-en-place is prepared as per standards of the F&B Department.
- To ensure that clients receive the required attention whilst in the F&B outlets at all times, checking to ensure that they are fully satisfied.
- To ensure that all food and beverages prepared for service are of the expected quality and presentation as per standards set by the department.
- To prepare clients bills and receive payment as per standards of the department.
- To act upon opportunities in and outside of your department taking ownership to fulfil guest needs.
