The hours are varied, and will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The contract we are offering is a 0hr contract initially, however there may be opportunity to work up to full time hours depending on your availability and the needs of the business.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
*
*
The main areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
*
*
- Welcoming our customers and helping them register.
- Presenting safety briefings to groups of adults and children.
- Helping customers and supplying them with their race equipment.
- Programming and running the timing computer (training will be given)
- Safety Marshaling all types of events on circuit.
- Driving karts on circuit for setup, safety and instruction.
- Fueling karts
- Repairing / replacing circuit barriers and ensuring the circuit is safe to operate.
- Ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Administration work - Including answering the telephone.
- Helping in other departments, working as part of a team.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS
*
*
- Minimum of GCSE level education is required, including English and Math
- To be able to work Flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Smart, presentable & able to communicate with the customers and other members of staff in a professional manner
- Be physically able to work in all weather conditions, including standing for long periods of time.
- Be well presented and have excellent time keeping.
- Be able to speak in front of groups of customers (including children) in a friendly and confident manner.
- Be able to be responsible for themselves and others including customers and their environment.
- IT / Computer literate
- Ability to follow procedures and directions in an accurate, safe and timely manner
- Ability to provide a proactive contribution to a team that operates in a busy, customer service driven environment
- Flexibility and willingness to accept a wide range of tasks
- Quick learner with the ability to retain knowledge
- Positive outlook, adapts interpersonal style to circumstances

PREFERRED SKILLS REQUIRED

- Previous experience in customer service is preferable.
- To be able to think quickly in stressful situations
- Due to the remote location of the circuit and the hours of operation someone that is able to drive would be an advantage
- Willing to learn to increase knowledge and ability
- First Aid Certificate - Training can be given
