**Overview**
Veetee is a global ambient foods and rice company, a major supplier to retailers, wholesalers, and other food manufacturing businesses. We have two factories and three warehouses in Rochester, Kent, one manufacturing site and corporate office in India, and a Sales & Distribution team in the USA.

As a Machine Operator you will operate automatic packing production lines (machines) ensuring the product safety, quality volume and hygiene targets are achieved on a daily basis.

**Pre-Production Checks & Setup**
- Carry out pre-start-up safety and hygiene checks required for the production line before starting.
- Set the machines to production recipes.
- Prepare raw materials for production.

**Production Line Operations**
- Replenish packaging to the production line during the shift, including stacking boxes and consumable items like glue and labels.
- Replace films and replenish them on the line during production.
- Replenish the line with pallets or other materials needed for production.
- Resolve machine stoppages promptly.
- Achieve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and waste targets.

**Documentation & Quality Control**
- Complete and maintain correct documentation for each product run.
- Complete and record quality and CCP (Critical Control Point) checks on the line at defined intervals.
- Record downtime.

**Health, Safety & Hygiene**
- Ensure the safety of oneself and others at all times.
- Maintain health and safety and adhere to policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain the hygiene of equipment during and after job completion.

**Teamwork & Continuous Improvement**
- Work as part of a team.
- Provide feedback to the Shift Supervisor and Production Manager as necessary.
- Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency, safety, and waste reduction.
- Assist in the training of others and identify own training needs.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Any other reasonable duties, responsibilities, or requests issued by management.

**Must have machine operator experience.**
