To ensure that all relevant monthly adjustments including accruals and prepayments are performed to a tight financial timetable in order that the Senior Finance Business Partners and Assistant Director of Finance can complete the monthly board reports on time. 8.

To ensure that a high quality service is provided to budget managers with queries being responded to in a timely manner. 9. To ensure that a high quality service is provided to the directorate with queries being responded to in a timely manner. 10.

To assist the Senior Finance Business Partner in the annual budget setting process as required. Physical Skills 11. Accurate and timely input of data for raising invoices to retrieve income. Responsibility for Patient/Client Care 12.

Occasional patient contact to resolve queries and may provide general advice to patients with regards to Patient Travel claim queries. Responsibility for Policy/Service Development 13. Implements policies for own work area and may propose changes to working practices and procedures to enhance financial security of Service. Responsibility for Financial & Physical Resources 14.

To deal with financial queries from the Senior Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant Receivable team & External Suppliers and provide support. 15. Responsible for adjusting staffing whole time and salary in a timely manner in accordance to monthy reporting timetables. 16.

To use knowledge/ experience to advise budget holders on the Trusts financial policies, procedures and Standing Financial Instructions. 17. To ensure that the Trusts standing financial instructions and codes of procedures are adhered to at all times. 18.

20. To liaise with internal and external audit as required. Responsibility for Human Resources 21. Develops and delivers training programmes for Non Finance staff.

Works closely with team members and external organisations to retrieve income. Freedom to Act 22. Decisions made within the framework of the Trusts Standing Orders and Standing Financial Instructions. These documents provide broad policies rather than detailed procedures.

23. Post requires little direct supervision. 24. Operating within policies and procedures.

25. Responsible for prioritising own work to ensure weekly and monthly timetables are met. 26. Targets /outputs agreed with Senior Finance Business Partner (for example, as part of performance review), but process for achieving those targets determined by the Senior Management Accounts Advisor.
