Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor / IMS Expert to join their business to be based in the Harrogate area. **Health & Safety Advisor / IMS Expert
- Key responsibilities**
- Providing advice and guidance to clients on their legal and regulatory duties.
- Developing, improving, and maintaining Health and Safety management systems.
- Authoring and developing Health and Safety documentation (procedures and policies).
- Supporting management system implementations.
- Carrying out site inspections and site audits.
- Developing action plans and recommendations.
- Liaising with client management and employees.
- Delivery of ad-hoc training.
- Carrying out hazard identification and risk assessments on sites throughout the UK.
- Producing reports and action plans.
**Health & Safety Advisor / IMS Expert
- Skills & Experience**
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is essential.
- Experience in a similar health and safety position.
- Experienced in implementing and maintaining Health and Safety integrated management systems (IMS). Ability to write, amend and implement policies.
- Highly motivated with a positive approach to tasks.
- Ability to manage own workload efficiently and effectively.
- A strong communicator who is comfortable building effective working relationships.
- Ability to travel across the UK and Ireland on occasion.
- ISO 45001 lead auditor status highly desirable.
- Good working knowledge of PUWER & CDM highly desirable.
- Friday 8.30am until 5pm with flexibility - 40 hours per week. Predominantly based at their headoffice in Harrogate with flexibility to travel to client sites.
