Head of Education Services

**Your Responsibilities**
- **Relationship Development**:

- Maintain and develop relationships across our client group, including university student support and disability departments
- Provide specialist consultancy and advice to clients on best practice in relation to neurodiversity
- Actively promote and raise the profile of our education services
- Grow our organisation by identifying and progressing opportunities with new clients and educational institutions
- Understand potential client’s challenges and create tailored solutions using our core capabilities.
- Forecast, measure, and report the results of client activity
- **Product & Service Innovation**:

- Working in liaison with the support of the Lexxic team, advise on and deliver training and workshops on neurodiversity across the education sector
- Play an active role in producing and maintaining a range of appropriate sources of information to provide guidance to students, schools, colleges and University departments.
- Keep up to date and disseminate information regarding key policy changes (e.g. DSA)
- Build and maintain external networks (e.g. SFE, PATOSS, ADSHE); contribute to the professions with active membership of professional bodies
- **People**:

- Whether working with the team of specialist assessors, individuals or educational institutions, ensure that a high-quality service is maintained throughout the client journey.
- Motivate, inspire and lead our rapidly growing education team, fostering an ongoing culture of accountability and responsibility
- Undertake reviews of your direct reports, to empower individuals to contribute to Lexxic achieving our goals
- Be confident in assessing and reporting on complex assessment profiles in accordance with SASC guidelines
- Understand quality assurance standards for the tutoring service, (e.g. the Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE) and advise where necessary on queries in relation to tutoring
- **Technical & Quality Control**:

- Maintain a high level of knowledge and awareness of developments in the field of neurodiversity in the education sector.
- Engage in Continuing Professional Development in accordance with SASC and professional body requirements
- Develop and maintain mechanisms to obtain regular feedback from clients on relationships, work, satisfaction levels and the quality of our service
**Essentials**
- Current registration (APC/HCPC certification)
- Knowledge of the needs of neurodiverse individuals
- The ability to lead and work with colleagues and individuals at all levels
- Able to design presentations and deliver training / workshops
- Expertise of diagnostic assessments for the range of neurodiverse conditions and what is required in a quality assessment document, meeting SASC guidelines and quality professional practice
- The ability to effectively monitor the services and the quality of assessment and reporting carried out by the team
- An understanding of the Disabled Students Allowance, as well as knowledge of the current JCQ regulations
**Nice to Haves**
- Direct experience of assessing and advising students with neurodiverse conditions
- Consulting experience
- Commercial awareness with the ability to forecast and provide analytical data

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
