**Job Purpose & Scope
This is the role:
**Responsible for the processing of the full monthly payrolls including employees in UK and Ireland, across multiple business entities, ensuring compliance with company procedures and local payroll/tax related regulations.
**Key Result Areas**:

- Accurate and timely payroll processing
- Monthly and annual statutory and company payroll/tax reporting requirements
- Management of payroll related payments to third parties, including Pensions & HMRC
- Effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Maintaining professional knowledge and CPD

**Payroll Processing
Key Responsibilities & Job Content**:

- Monthly end to end payroll processing of both UK and Ireland employees, to include Overtime, Bonus, Mileage, statutory parental pay, PHI payments, Termination payments, Optional Remuneration arrangements, RTI submissions, e-payslips, journals, payroll reconciliations,compliance checks and associated reporting and payments
- Management of Inbound and Outbound assignees pay and benefits, across Expat and Shadow payrolls
- Process share options and RSU events and ensure tax compliance
- Manage salary sacrifice schemes, ensuring compliance with HMRC rules

**Payroll System Management**:

- Management of payroll system including: maintenance and set up of user defined payments, deductions, benefits and pension categories ensuring correct for Tax, NI & Costing; support with system integration with Time & Attendance and HR systems; continuousimprovement; maximise system functionality and relationship with vendor
- Ensure accurate data recorded on, including Company cars, fuel arrangements, salary & allowances and employee personal information
- Monitor, review & manage system users and the appropriateness of security profiles and system access rights, according to user job roles
- Project support for process improvement and system upgrades

**Tax Reporting**:

- Completion of statutory reports, to include: an annual review of all company expenses to prepare the PSA; collection/ review of data for preparation and submission of P60, P11D, etc.

**Pension And Benefits**:

- Ensure continued Pension compliance with auto enrolment
- Pension records maintained within payroll system
- Member of UK DC pension scheme
- Management of health Benefits, childcare vouchers and cycle to work scheme

**Other**:

- Collaboration on HR & Payroll related projects
- Main point of contact for Internal and External audits
- Update and maintain payroll manual
- Assist mobility team with long term and short term mobile employee population
- Prepare / review Gender Pay Gap report data

**Professional Skills - Essential**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience of full monthly payroll system processes including balancing and closing the pay period
- Knowledge of employee benefits, including company car schemes, and fuel complexities
- Experience of payroll system maintenance: user access and security profiles, set-up and maintenance of user defined categories, bulk uploads & back dated pay awards
- Knowledge of Auto Enrolment and experience with Pension administration
- Intermediate level knowledge of Excel [Vlookups, Pivot tables]

**Professional Skills - Desirable**
- Manufacturing experience - shift patterns, overtime,
- Irish payroll
