**Role Overview**:
We are currently recruiting for a Planner to join or Carlisle site which produce ‘best in class’ ready meals predominantly for M&S. This site is a fast paced, dynamic and ‘no two days the same’ environment; making it a great place to work.

Reporting to the Planning Manager you will be providing a top class and cost-effective planning for our site, whilst having in mind the complexities of multiple customer requirements we must deliver. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting production by ensuring materials and ingredients are ordered and delivered on time
- Maintaining budgeted levels of stockholding
- Maintaining medium to long-term forecasts and working to ensure availability of materials
- Developing strong relationships with a broad supplier base
- Following up on any rejections or returns to suppliers

**About You**:

- Prior experience of working in a planning role; a background in food manufacturing would be ideal but all backgrounds will be considered
- Experience of using SAP is an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided
- Good IT skills, ideally with advanced knowledge and experience of Excel
- Able to work quickly and accurately with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills, able to work well with colleagues across all departments
