**Salary: £80,000-£90,000 before benefits/bonus**

**Summary**: Exciting opportunity to join a long established, privately owned niche manufacturing business who are enjoying tremendous growth. They are looking to appoint a Supply Chain/Procurement leader who will join as a Director, and thiscould be an opportunity for an experienced Head of to take up their first board level role or an existing Director looking to make a career change. You will be comfortable with international travel as part of your role, developing existing and new relationshipswith key suppliers in USA, Far East and Europe. The business employs around 140 people currently in the UK.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and manage the relationships and performance with key global suppliers
- Sourcing of potential new suppliers to ensure availability of raw materials to meet demand
- Drive supply chain function, improve processes, ensure best practice methods are in place and improve inventory management
- Develop and optimise global supply chain networks and in-house warehousing and logistics operations to achieve cost and delivery targets
- Lead, coach and develop a small team
- Bring vision and strategic planning into the supply chain and procurement functions
- Become a key part of the board working collaboratively with your executive colleagues and wider business stakeholders
- Ensure the logistics operations operate in a compliant manner and meets high levels of quality and health and safety within their operation

**Key Skills/Experience**:

- Experience at senior level in Supply Chain, Procurement/Sourcing and logistics
- Comfortable and ideally familiar with SME business environments
- Able to work with and manage a small team
- Confident working as part of a board within an SME business
- Vision and strategic capabilities, driving change and transformation to ensure supply chain and procurement operations are agile and robust, enabling the business to realise its ambitious growth plans
- Manufacturing/Engineering experience essential
- Professional Supply Chain/Procurement qualification ie APICS, CIPS, IoSCM
- Strong commercial and business acumen, highly analytical
- Natural leader and motivator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong IT Skills and deep knowledge of ERP systems, SAP is highly desirable
