**Job description - PR Assistant**
In this PR Assistant position in London, you'll be responsible for the whole press relations process, including curating press kits, conducting outreach to the media, coordinating coverage opportunities, and documenting and reporting for clients.

You will also jump into a full-service operation that extends to social media management, influencer marketing, consultative strategy, and content creation. You'll support the senior team as you expand and develop your existing PR skills, and gain independence and autonomy to set you up for progression within the agency

**Key responsibilities - PR Assistant**
- In this PR Assistant job, your responsibilities will include:_
- Split role across PR and digital
- Drafting press releases, market comments, and website copy
- Generating ideas and providing creative input for PR campaigns
- Assisting with the coordination of coverage opportunities
- Media monitoring, reporting, and curating press kits
- Creating content for and managing social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Strategy planning for social media campaigns
- Content generation and scheduling
- Drafting blog content
- Keeping abreast of social media trends, tools and new platforms
- Developing an understanding of the Fitness & Lifestyle sectors
- Hands-on role with client meetings and site visits

**Job requirements - PR Assistant**
- Degree educated, ideally in a communications discipline
- Ideally 6 months experience working within a fast-paced PR agency
- An interest in the health, fitness, and lifestyle sector is a must
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive attitude and a willingness to take on a range of tasks
- Excellent organisational skills, paired with a proactive approach to getting things done
- Good knowledge of social media
