We are currently seeking a highly motivated and attentive Fire Warden to join our team in Newcastle. The role will require working up a mixture of shifts covering nights and weekends. Prior experience in a similar environment is preferred however training will be provided.
- Ensuring all building security requirements are met while being responsible for the main gatehouse and access in and out of the building.
- Conducting regular patrols of the building ensuring the ongoing safety of its residents.
- Regular Alarm tests.
- Responsible for ensuring building evacuation procedure is carried out as per fire safety strategy, and dealing with people within the building that may need help and assistance in the event of an evacuation.
- Liaising with the Fire Brigade in the event of a fire.
- Report any fire related issues so these can be dealt with in a timely manner.
- Report any maintenance issues that may arise, for example lift breakdowns and damages to property.
- Responsible for ensuring any necessary paperwork is completed to a high standard.
- Monitoring building CCTV.
- Any other fire warden duties as and when required.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience of providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work confidently alone or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt accordingly to the situation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
