**What’s the role?**
**Winter Warmth Co-ordinator (up to Mar3)ch/April 202**
- £30,984 - £33,486 (pro-rata)
- Generous mileage allowance
With the current increase in energy bills taking effect and the cost-of-living crisis, we want to provide a warm, safe space for residents and the wider community
We will provide a safe and secure environment to help customers reduce individual energy consumption and therefore reduce their energy bills and help people integrate back into the community and combat loneliness post pandemic.
**You will**:
- Be aware of local older person strategies
- Support customers aged 55+ in the Warm Hubs
- Help people develop new skills
- Coordinate energy/money saving activities and workshops
- Coordinate coffee mornings and lunch events for groups and individuals
- Demonstrate activities
- Report to the Operations Manager
**What will I have to do?**
**You will**:
- Research, plan and deliver group activities such as coffee sessions, craft sessions
- Liaise with the Local Foodbank to organise events/joint working
- Identify and purchase supplies and materials for the activities and sessions you plan.
- Liaise with the Hub Managers and work as part of a caring team.
- Serve beverages to attendees
- Signpost customers to external agencies to ensure they are receiving any benefits/grants that they may be entitled to.
- Work with the Energy Support Advisor to support customers to access grants and other support services to improve their circumstances.
- Identify vulnerable customers for Safeguarding purposes.
- Deliver energy/money saving activities.
- To encourage peoples online/computer skills to encourage online savings.
- Work together with our Extra Care Housing Schemes to support customers who may wish to use the Warm Hubs.

- Excellent knowledge and experience within the Sheltered Housing industry
- Good co-ordination skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Full, clean, UK driving licence.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Strong work ethic.
- Computer literate.
- Able to problem solve, thinking outside the box to achieve results.
- Excellent timekeeping and time management skills.
- Willingness to go the extra mile.
- Self-motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity and proactiveness.
- Positive energy and natural ability to encourage people to get involved in activities.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: £30,984.00-£33,486.00 per year
