**Supervisor - Protein Purification Department**

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing robust, validated processes to guarantee reliability in the future.
- Developing specifications for materials to guarantee consistency in the future.
- Producing pilot lots of required materials to be transferred to manufacturing or to stock.
- Evaluating calibrator and control material sources & sustainability.
- Transfer of new products and processes to manufacturing, including training.
- Providing control measures/materials for manufacturing once product is transferred.
- Working with managers and wider project teams to achieve set goals and oversee achievement of these goals by the project teams.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance to TBS’ QMS and to all other applicable regulations and guidance.
- Ensuring all processes are at least compliant to local H&S guidance and ideally follow best practice.
- Line management

**Essential**:

- Previous laboratory experience
- Knowledge of immune diagnostic assays.
- Previous experience of working in a IVD manufacturing GMP environment
- Computer literate with a good understanding of Excel
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good analytical skills, with a methodical approach
- Ability to problem solve and make informed decisions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to work and lead in a team environment
- To be flexible to the needs of the business
