About the Role
The role of **HE Lecturer - Law** here at University Centre (UC) Leeds is to plan, deliver and assess essential curriculum to our students across Access to HE Law and our LLB (Hons) Degree.
The curriculum offered at UC Leeds is vocationally focused and diverse in nature. The institution holds Degree Awarding Powers. We currently have over 1300 students studying across the range of courses we offer.
We offer a comprehensive LLB (Hons) Law degree, validated by The Open University, designed to prepare students for various legal and criminal justice careers
What You Will Do
- Plan, prepare and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, learning and assessment plans.
- Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
- Adapt curriculum delivery methods to maximise their effectiveness, including through the use of technology.
About You
- Holds a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE) or a willing to undertake this and complete within 2 years
- Knowledge of current teaching practices and experience of utilising a range of teaching practices to enhance learner journey and progression.
