**The Opportunity**

As a Commercial Assistant, the main purpose of the role is to assist in the efficient commercial administration of the working contract, working closely with the Office Supervisor/ Manager and the Regional and Commercial Managers.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Long Term Credit Control Elements - to continue in current format post DPMS Implementation
- Update and maintain Excel Invoicing and payment tracker.
- Review tracker as part of a weekly routine, highlight new issues and follow relevant route for resolution.
- Liaise with accounts payable team regarding outstanding payments.

Long Term Change Management - Additional Works & SAP Orders
- Create and maintain log of all additional works/SAP order requests and current status.
- Follow up any outstanding requests and provide relevant supporting information for resolution.
- Download and manage SAP report to confirm all SAP numbers have been followed through to completion and payment.

Long Term Additional Commercial Tasks
- Collate data on cancellations for monthly claim
- Assist in month end processes and reporting

Subcontractor Cost administration

Short Term
- Follow up and aid in resolution of current aged debt issues. Follow up and aid in resolution of variations.

**The Person**

Essential:

- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft packages
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to have attention to detail and prioritise tasks

Desirable:

- Relevant NVQ certificate
