Veterinary Hydrotherapist

**Join the Pawsitive Relief Team**

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate **Veterinary Hydrotherapist** to join our friendly, evidence-based rehabilitation team at **Pawsitive Relief** in beautiful Weardale, County Durham.

If you’re passionate about helping **companion animals** — from dogs and cats to small furries — move more comfortably, recover from injury, and live better for longer, we’d love to hear from you.

**About the Role**

This is a **permanent, part-time position** for a qualified hydrotherapist (ideally **minimum Level 4 in Small Animal Hydrotherapy**) with experience in **aquatic treadmill therapy**.

You’ll work alongside our **veterinarian-led, multidisciplinary team**, supporting the design and delivery of rehabilitation programmes for a diverse caseload, from post-operative patients to senior pets managing chronic pain.

**We’re looking for someone who is**:

- **Confident and capable of independent case management**, with excellent judgement and attention to detail.
- Skilled in **hands-on assessment, animal handling, and observation**, ensuring every patient receives tailored, safe, and effective therapy.
- A genuine **team player**, comfortable collaborating with veterinary surgeons, physiotherapists, and other colleagues to achieve the best outcomes.
- Dedicated to maintaining **clinical excellence** — using evidence-based techniques and upholding the highest standards of welfare and care.
- Compassionate, adaptable, and calm — able to reassure both pets and their owners through every stage of treatment.
