**Company** - An innovative hybrid investor-advisor; working with MDs, CEOs and teams often from industry and existing priavte equity backed businesses, who wish to start their own group of companies by buying a collection of performing owner managed businesses - Independence manage the entire process from opportunity identification, to acquiring and funding the company/group and then working with management to realise growth and exit in the years ahead - The team is small and young and whilst hugely successful in its first 2-years, is now investing in growing headcount in order to be able to industrialise at greater scale the existing offering. The business has significant plans over the next few yearsand this role and function will be at the heart of that growth **Role** - Engaging direct with prospective private investors - Engaging direct with prospective teams and leaders - Supporting wider transactions activities by engaging with prospective buyers/sellers/funders as required - Representing Independence at corporate and networking events - Working with "targets" to qualify and manage thier interest such that Operating Team can start work with a heavily qualified and prepared case which will maximise prospects of sucess and efficiency through the business - Maintaining key relationships with targets and clients over time in a quasi-account management capacity even though Managing Director will bear primary responsibility for the client relationship - Reactivating historic prospects/targets as part of the companies perpetual sales funnell activities - Given the growth of the business and the span of role, it is feasible that a small team of 2-4 will be recruited over the next 12-24 months and this applicant will have the opportunity to build a case to lead that team - Given that this role will be the first point of contact for many individuals, evidence of engaging with an exceptional manner, charm and professionalism is similarly vital **Benefits** - Given this is a new role for the business, there is no established precedent - Further education is available (ACCA/CFA etc) but is not mandatory as this is not just a technical role - Modern workplace practices allow for periods of remote and work whilst travelling - Modern workplace at Alderley Park which includes own restuarents, a pub, a gym and a nature reserve/lake amongst many other social events and groups - Prospects to build own team shortly after proving success **Process** - Applications to be submitted through July - Shortlisting and first interviews scheduled for early August - Interview process a combination of video-call, online testing, in-person meeting (team) and project - Commencement expected from September
