Our Nursery is dedicated to providing excellence and innovation in childcare and education through acknowledging the value of staff and assisting staff in achieving their potential by supporting them as much as possible.

We are a friendly and approachable setting and this is an exciting opportunity for experienced, enthusiastic and caring practitioner to join our team as we expand.

The job requires you to:

- Provide great role modelling for all children.
- Implement fun, activity filled day that puts the children's individual needs and education at the front of your priorities.
- Observe and assess individual children's development and learning journey via an online learning journal, planning for individual need, routines and preferences.
- Work effectively in partnership with parents, carers and the whole nursery team.

We are open 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday all year round (1 weeks Christmas closure) and the hours of work will be between these hours.

Skills/Qualifications
- To hold a Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare (Essential)
- You must be professional, reliable and organised with a positive working attitude.
- To be committed to undertaking further training or development as required.
- Have a good understanding of child development and the EYFS
- Be able to act under own initiative and to make decisions.
- To have the ability to establish good relationships with children, parents and other staff, communicating clearly and sensitively.
- To relate well to children and adults and work co-operatively with the staff team and with parents to share knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the children.
- To be aware of the need for confidentiality.
- Commitment to equal opportunities

Salary
- TBC - dependent upon experience and qualifications
