**Senior Support Worker - Hartsbrook**

**Salary**: 9.90-10.05 per hour + Benefits

**Location**: Ashtead, Surrey KT21 2EQ

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week

Our Client provides supported living services for adults with a range of disabilities in two locations in Ashtead. They specialise in supporting and assisting people with sight loss and offer individual personalised support in people's own homes throughoutthe Surrey area. They aim to excel as a specialist provider of quality care and support, ensuring the people they support are at the heart of everything we do at Hartsbrook.

They provide support to 6 young people, 4 ladies and 2 gentlemen who are determined to live life to the fullest. They enjoy going out shopping, dinners, swimming, discos and they even have their own tv channel

Supporting the Manager and Deputy Manager, in working with a team of Support Workers to provide extraordinary, person-centred support, which is safe and maximises choice, dignity and independence. Acting as a role model and mentor to the Support Workersyou will facilitate the use of sound judgment and creative solutions to enable people to achieve goals and explore new opportunities. You will supervise daily outputs and assist in managing staff performance, development and appraisals.

You will be a natural leader with experience of providing extraordinary support, ideally to people with visual impairment and/or other disabilities, be professional, patient and calm under pressure. A strong team ethic is key, having the ability to leadby example, nurture and develop talent, both in your team members and the people they support. You will either possess a QCF in Health & Social Care level 2 Diploma or be prepared to work towards achieving the above qualification. Above all you'll take personalresponsibility for the quality of care and support delivered to the people we support, striving always to surpass expectations and do what is right by them.
