We are looking to recruit a Pharmacy Support Worker to join our team that prepares IV chemotherapy and other products in our Aseptic Preparation Suite. The duties will involve all aspects of working within the aseptic unit including the dispensing and/or preparation of Parenteral (intravenous) Nutrition and Chemotherapy treatments.
The Trust opened a new high specification Aseptic Preparation Suite at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby in April 2017 which provides treatments for patients to both Scunthorpe and Grimsby sites.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy, CIVAS and parenteral nutrition products within the Aseptic Preparation Suite.
- Assist with the delivery of the Clinical Trials service.
- Assist with the environmental monitoring and cleaning of the Aseptic Preparation Suite.
