This role is a full-time locum position in the NHS in a Staffordshire inpatient service; it offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to work from Monday to Friday. Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose and oversee the mental health of patients in your care.

**Position**: Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry

**Hours**: This position is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week

**Setting**: Inpatient

**Location**:Staffordshire

**Type of role**: Locum

**Dates**:This position is available for an initial 3-months with a potential to extend.

Locum rates vary from £80-£100 per hour PAYE. In some instances where there is a high demand or urgent need, this rate could be escalated higher.

**Skills**:

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Computer literate

**Requirements**:

- You must have a full GMC licence to practice
- Relevant previous experience working in this type of position
- Section 12 approval is essential
- Approved clinician status is essential
