Norvic Healthcare is a family run business and based in Taverham.
Our Fast Track Palliative Care Team provides palliative care for End-of-Life clients who have been fast tracked for discharge from the hospital. These clients wish to be at home in their final days.
You will be a vital part of a supportive, friendly and specialist team who have a great reputation for ensuring that patients and their families receive seamless support.
You will have a caring and compassionate nature with the ability to think and operate within our company values - **Nurture, Openness, Respect, Valued, Integrity**, **Compassion.**
**The Role**:
Providing a high-end palliative care service promoting person centered care and maintaining dignity and respect of all clients.
Shift patterns are from 7am-8pm 7 days a week.
Working on a 2:1 basis using a company car
**key responsibilities**
- Administering medication or inhalers
- Changing catheter and stoma bags when required
- Ensuring that all the equipment that is used on the client is cleaned and stored correctly
- Assisting with washing, showering, bathing, hair, oral care, and toileting
- Assisting with dressing and undressing
**Person specification**
- Caring and compassionate nature (essential)
- Competent in English language
- both written and verbal (essential)
- Competent driver
- holding a current driver’s license (essential)
- Previous care experience (desirable)
- Hold a current DBS certificate which is registered onto the Disclosure and Barring Service (desirable)
