THE ROLE

The role as Casual Kitchen Assistant is to work as part of a team of kitchen staff and food service assistants at the Cafes in the beautiful surroundings of Dinton Pastures Country Park. This position is great for people who want the flexibility to work when they are available so has a brilliant work/life balance. Primarily we are looking for someone who can work midweek evenings preparing food for sale the next day including grab and go items and general kitchen prep.

Previous kitchen experience is essential in this role.

Being a country park which is open 364 days a year weekends and bank holidays are part of the role but it will be your job to manage the rotas to ensure there is a fair share of weekends/bank holidays.

We are looking for our kitchen assistant to have great passion for food and enjoy producing exceptional food for our customers every time. You will need to take ownership of the food you produce and be proud of making good food for customers.

You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. Closing down and ensuring the prep areas and kitchen are left in a great condition for the next day.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: Up to £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
