Our vision is for everyone in the bank to become data literate. This requires building data design and data management capabilities into the technical product teams that deliver working software.

Data architecture, solution and design team is responsible not only to design and build leading-edge data solutions and models, and also to develop and maintain the metadata solution.

**The difference you'll make.**
- Contributing to the data architecture strategy, roadmap, and governance for the bank's domains
- Providing support on any related projects, including managing stakeholders and regular updates to all parties, senior management, and committees
- Modelling data as well as providing data designs.
- Formalising standards, patterns and best practices around data architecture, helping product teams articulate their requirements.
- Delivering models and designs where needed to pioneer new avenues in technology.
- Influencing the decision-making process and coordinating with other architecture teams.

**What you'll bring.**
- Experience in Data Architecture or Data Modelling
- Strong communication and stakeholder management

**It would also be nice for you to have.**
- Knowledge of Data Architecture principal and Data Management policy
- Experience in Data Solution Architecture, ideally on AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience in Data Modelling (conceptual, logical and physical)
- Knowledge of BI / Data Analytics

**What else you need to know.**

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.

This role is currently Milton Keynes based/Home based until corona virus restrictions are lifted, but you will be expected to attend the Milton Keynes office once fully operational.
