At JCS we have a client focused and experienced team. We have 6 directors and senior managers and approximately 30 staff, most of whom either hold, or are training for, professional qualifications. We are not so large that clients can’t speak to someonefamiliar with their affairs and we are highly approachable. All directors in the firm are Chartered Accountants. We are registered to carry out audit work by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). We are an approved training officefor the ICAEW.

**The role**:
We are looking for a new member of staff to help oversee the day to day running of the business at our offices in Sutton, Surrey. The Finance & Admin Officer will support our Senior Management Team, to maintain and develop financial and administrative processesthat enables JCS to continue to grow and run smoothly. They will ensure the organisation’s finances are administered efficiently and correctly and provide general administrative support. The role will be for 25 hours per week over 5 days (start and finishtime to be agreed) and will encompass financial processes as well as administration.

You will be undertaking finance duties and responsibilities with occasionally supporting the recruitment and HR side of the company. Some of these duties will involve processing of payments of bills and expenses, raising customer invoices, data entry, oversightof petty cash and monthly support with pension and payroll processes. Alongside the finance work you will provide practical administration to run our offices and support the client facing staff in practical ways.

You will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills, be able to manage your time effectively, be able to prioritise and be willing to be flexible when needed. You will have a can-do attitude, be courteous and willing to deliver the higheststandards of supports whilst promoting company values.

**About you**:
You must have excellent organisational skills and are able to work on your own initiative, planning your own workload and prioritising tasks. We are looking for someone with high motivation, great attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. You willbe passionate about your role and be a good team player.

You will be supporting the business with important communications so excellent standards of the English language are vital.
