**Spot Weld Operator**

Pertemps are delighted to currently be recruiting for a Spot Welder to work for a leading metal fabrication company. Using state of the art equipment and industry-leading software, this company ensures a seamless service for its customers and remaining competitive in the market.
This opportunity is a permanent position where you will be reporting directly to the department supervisor.

**Shift patterns available are **0730 to 1630 Monday to Thursday and 0730 to 1230 Friday.
Potential requirement to work shift patterns as follows:
0600 to 1400 or 1400 to 2200 (shift allowance payable on top of basic pay)

**Pay range (dependant on experience) + £1000 for 1 year of employment**
Basic day rate £10.50 to £11.00 per hour
0600-1400 rate £11.81 to £12.38 per hour
1400 -2200 rate £13.13 to £13.75 per hour

**Overtime available but not guaranteed £13.97 to £14.63 (dependent on basic pay rate)**

**Your duties as a Spot Welder will include**
- Operate spot weld machinery to feed robot weld department- Calibrate welding equipment- Maintain good working conditions of tools- Maintain quality and watch for defects- Help other engineering departments during welding downtime- Previous spot-welding experience- Work well in a team and individually- Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude- Work in a fast-paced engineering environment- Crane license desirable**This company offers a Spot Welder the following benefits**
