Trainee Cbt Psychological Therapist

Trainees will be supported by experienced colleagues and offered a range of opportunities to develop core CBT competencies within the workplace in conjunction with the academic support offered by the course team. You will benefit from clinical supervision on the course and in the workplace, with opportunities for peer support. You will have time for study and assignments built into your job plan. In the first year of the course you will develop your skills with a broad range of clients before specialising in working with people with Psychosis and Bipolar disorder or Personality Disorders in the second year.
You will be encouraged to develop areas of interest that are relevant to the clinical work and contribute to service initiatives and development. Please see attached job description and person specification for further detailed information regarding main responsibilities.
