Process Technician

NonStop Consulting is currently hiring for a renowned utilities company a Process Technician where using your existing knowledge, you will undertake reactive and planned maintenance of plant and equipment on a daily basis. Other responsibilities will includeproviding technical expertise to internal and external contractors, managing projects, and carrying out inspections and tests on electrical equipment and assisting in development of other projects.

The role is full time, Monday to Friday ,on site based in Kent.
The requirements that this role entail are:
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship in an industrial area
- ONC or equivalent in speciality area
- Current Electrical and Mechanical Installation Regulations qualification
- A relevant Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification (such as City & Guilds).
Some of the role's responsibilities are as follow:
- Maintain chemical dosing systems and assist with process issues.
- To install new plant and equipment as required
- Provide technical expertise to Internal & External contractors
- To respond to alarms and fault find to identify issues, fix these or escalate if required
- To carry out inspection and test on electrical equipment following company procedures.
Please note you must have a full clean driving licence as the role will include visiting sites all over the Kent area.
