**Vacant Job Position**:Assembly Operative

**Background Information**:

- ADS Laser_ is the premier **metal laser cutting, precision folding, fabricating and finishing** company in the UK. From Bespoke to Volume Solutions we work on a wide range of projects from intricately designed Point of Sale materials to volume components that find their way into Rail systems for systems for a range of large high profile industry customers.

**Role Profile**:
The role is to assemble components for large products, to enable the effective, efficient build of products & on time delivery of quality product to our customers, working to company processes, standards & operating procedures.

**Main Duties**:

- Work from design issued engineering drawings
- Identify & pick the correct parts required
- Check the quality of incoming components & liaise & work with Goods In on incorrect or damaged items
- Assembly of components & products to drawing & quality specifications outlined in the job pack
- Use hand tools
- Use pneumatic & electric hand tools
- Lifting & shifting products
- Post build quality inspection of completed products & subsections of products
- Trouble shoot & resolve production issues swiftly
- Report any production issues that affect performance to your line manager
- Meet daily & weekly targets & report progress daily to your line manager
- Carry out work with a focus on high quality output
- Any reasonable management request
- Any other reasonable management request.
- Assembly build work desirable
- Understand & read engineering drawings desirable
- Use of hand powered tools desirable
- Self-motivated & focused, with a flexible attitude
- Good attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy & a commitment to quality
- Able to work on & use own initiative & problem solve
- Strong communication, team working & people skills

**Salary**: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
