**Role Outline**

Origin Fertilisers is the premier supplier of Fertiliser products to the agricultural market in the UK. Operating from 12 geographically diverse locations providing maximum coverage of the UK for our customers. Origin prides itself on the customer service that it offers, with our Sales Support and Transport functions aiming to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

The role of the Marketing Assistant will work under the direction of the Marketing Manager to help reach the company’s marketing goals and objectives. They will provide administrative and functional support to the Marketing Manager and to the wider Origin Fertilisers business.

**Main Responsibilies**

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, you will be expected to:
Marketing:

- Assist in creating promotional materials such as leaflets, banners, etc.
- Campaign monitoring.
- Organise and plan the production of marketing materials.
- Manage marketing material stocks.
- Organise diaries, hampers, customer gifts, branded IT accessories, etc.
- Monitoring of social media.
- Keep the website up to date (i.e. upload the content created by others).
- Measure Search Engine Optimisation and social media engagement.
- Managing Technical and Marketing Sharepoint depositary.
- Support the Nutrition Agronomists with presentations.
- Maintain social media channels.
Events / meetings:

- Help plan and organise company events including; Down Hall, Croptec, Lamma.
- Organises travel, accommodation, meeting rooms, etc. for company meetings, shows, etc.
Data collation:

- Statistical submissions - AIC, Carbon reporting, ISO 14001, etc.
- Keep GB fertiliser statistics up to date.
- Enter cube data into a spreadsheet to create useful data for Sales Manager and NAs.

**Skills Required**:

- Strong organisational skills.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Good IT skills - Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel is key.
- Good written and verbal communicator.
- Strong team player.
- Can work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Interest in Marketing/Digital Marketing and communications.
- Ideally studying or wanting to study for a Marketing qualification.
