Accounts Assistant

My client is NI’s longest established dealership for Europe’s leading truck/bus brand and the market leading excavator brand. They offer a full range of sales, service and rentals and are widely recognised as being market innovators and hold industry awards for excellence.
Due to continued business growth they now seek to recruit a full-time **Accounts Assistant **to cover a maternity leave for approx.12 months. You will join a team of 8 staff based in Ballyclare HQ.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Posting sales invoices and compilation of monthly sales summaries
- Generation of monthly invoices, credit notes and reports
- Daily banking for rentals and sales
- Assisting with allocation of incoming credit card payments and bank reconciliations
- Posting journals to accounts system
- Producing daily WIP reports and customer spend analysis
- Intrastat & EC Sales List Preparation
- Accounts Payable processing purchases invoices
- Possess relevant accounts administration experience in a fast paced and busy accounts department
- Have previous experience of using accounts packages and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- IATI / AAT qualification is desirable
