An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Sales Manager at this fantastic hotel and Brewery / Distiller in the heart of Inverness.
**About the role**:
They are currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing current and future business for the hotel ( Corporates, Weddings, Conference, Restaurant) and for their new Brewery / Distillery.
**Duties will include**:
- Creating a sales strategy for the hotel and the brewery / distillery.
- Finding new leads and business opportunities to develop sales (Corporates, weddings, meetings restaurant, Brewery and distillery ) and grow the business.
- Managing the events and wedding coordinator team, liaising, and developing a strong relationship with the other departments of the hotel to ensure smooth operations and good sales delivery.
- Developing relationships with key customers of the business.
- Networking with the local community and becoming a brand ambassador for the business.
- Working in conjunction with a marketing agency to produce advertising and marketing materials. Once a plan for promotional materials has been developed, ensuring it is correctly executed.
- Being able to provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the business, develop professional long term business relationships and always provide the highest quality of service to the customer.
**Experience needed**:
- Experience in managing people -and in organising a team, delegating responsibility, and assigning staff to roles.
- Experience in planning marketing campaigns - Previous experience in creating marketing campaigns from planning through to implementation is advantageous.
- Sales experience -be an experienced sales executive who has worked at many different levels in the hotel, food and beverage industry.
- Sales report experience -experience working in the hospitality industry and a thorough understanding of how to market the brewery/distillery and hotel.

- Very high-level written and communication skills
- Public speaking skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Team management and leadership skills, ability to motivate staff
- An innovative and creative person
- High level IT and report preparation skills
- Ability to work under pressure
