**Position**: Office Cleaner
**Responsibilities**:
**Office Cleaning**:
- Regularly clean and disinfect all common areas in the office, including reception areas, corridors, and employee break rooms.
- Dusting and wiping down surfaces, desks, tables, chairs, and other furniture to maintain a neat appearance.
- Vacuuming and mopping floors to keep them clean and presentable.
- Emptying rubbish bins and replacing garbage bags as needed.
- Cleaning windows and glass partitions to ensure they are free from smudges and stains.
- Ensuring the office environment is tidy and well-organized.
**Packing Room Cleaning**:
- Clean and sanitize the packing room, including work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
- Dispose of packing materials and waste properly, adhering to recycling and disposal guidelines.
- Organize and maintain the packing area to facilitate efficient operations.
**Bathroom Cleaning**:
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize the two toilets, sinks, and counters.
- Restock toilet paper, soap, and other necessary supplies.
- Regularly check and clean mirrors, fixtures, and other surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
**Supplies Management**:
- Monitor and report the inventory of cleaning supplies and request replacements as needed.
- Ensure that cleaning products and equipment are properly stored and used according to safety guidelines.
- Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:Follow established health and safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel promptly.
**Position Requirements**:
- Previous experience in professional cleaning is **preferred** but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and best practices.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
- Physical stamina to handle cleaning tasks that may require standing, bending, and lifting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with office staff and visitors.
This is a part-time position, and the office cleaner will report directly to our office manager. The work schedule will be 5 hours a week, split across two days.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5 per week
**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
