**Water Hygiene Remedial Technician**
**Location**: Swindon, Wiltshire
**Salary**:£12.02 - £13.16 p/h (£25,001.60 - £27,372.80 per annum) + Travel time paid
**Contract**:Full time, Permanent
**Hours**:40 hours a week with regular possibility of overtime.

We are currently looking for Plumbers / Remedial Technician, to join our enthusiastic team at HSL Compliance, one of theleading companies in the legionella compliance industry providing services to Local Authorities and Housing Associates throughout the UK.
Water Hygiene Remedial Technician / Plumber - **The Role**:
Reporting to the Account Manager/Supervisor, the Remedial Technician’s role is to assist with general plumbing works on communal hot and cold-water systems on an array of designated site-based contracts predominantly for local authorities and housing associations.
We are recruiting in the aforementioned areas; however, you may be required to work at various locations within the UK.
Possible overnight stays:

- Approximate mileage each week - will vary but approx. 500, if not lodging, depending on technician’s location.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
Remedial plumber duties to include:
- To carry out the upgrading of cold-water storage tanks and associated hot & cold-water distribution systems
- Dead leg removal
- TMV install
- Tank installation
- Water heater replacement
- Clean and disinfection of water systems
- Basic pipework insulation works
- Basic plumbing tasks.
- Carry out thermometer & ladder calibrations
- Respond to call outs when required
- Liaise with suppliers, clients & tenants
- Maintain a close customer relationship on all designated contracts
- Promote the Company’s best interests at all times
Water Hygiene Remedial Technician / Plumber - **About You**:
**Experience, Skills & Requirements**:

- At least one years’ experience is a similar role
- Excellent customer service, communication & organisational skills
- City & Guilds Plumbing preferable
- GCSE educated or equivalent
