- We are looking for an experienced Childrenswear and Babywear Technologist to join our Technical team based in London. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the end-to-end process from product launch to delivery, with a focus on fit, construction and safety for our childrenswear and babywear jersey product categories.**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support end-to-end process from design to delivery, ensuring quality, fit, grading, and construction.
- Assist Design and product development teams in creating technical specification packs for suppliers.
- Conduct risk assessments on product safety, global regulations, and fabric/trim suitability.
- Measure garments, input fit comments, and technical specifications into the PLM system.
- Conduct garment fittings and provide guidance to vendors on necessary alterations.
- Coordinate with vendors on technical details and provide timely feedback.
- Identify cost engineering opportunities to improve margins.
- Manage garment testing process and resolve test failures.
- Ensure consistency of fit and quality across the category and size range.
- Lead cross-functional meetings with design, product development, and sourcing teams.
- Support block development and ensure correct blocks are used.
- Create and update garment construction and standards manuals.
- Analyse returns and sales feedback to prevent recurring issues.

**PERSONAL PROFILE**
- Minimum 3 years' experience in childrenswear industry.
- Luxury brand or retail technical background.
- Understanding of production methods, cycle, and garment construction.
- Knowledgeable about global childrenswear safety requirements and legislation.
- Proficient in grading, pattern cutting, and garment specifications.
- Specialised technical fitting expertise, including testing.
- Effective multitasker with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Highly organised and process-driven.
- Excellent communication skills, strong team player, attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business trends and projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of PLM and Teams preferred.
- Digital pattern making knowledge and 3D modelling skills are advantageous.
