College Cleaner

We have vacancies available as a **College Cleaner**to join our team based in **Northwich**. You will join us during term-time only on a **part-time, permanent** basis. In return, you will receive a competitive rate of **£9.64 per hour ( £18,593per annum full-time equivalent).**

**Hours available are**: 12.5 hours per week, 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm, term time only.

As our **College Cleaner,**you will perform such cleaning duties as may be reasonably specified by the Estates Manager to ensure that the College premises are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

**Your responsibilities as our College Cleanerwill include**:

- Performing cleaning duties in such areas of the College premises as are designated from time to time by the Estates Manager and these duties will include cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping and vacuum cleaning of designated areas (including toilets andshower areas) and with respect to fixtures and fittings contained in these areas, using, where appropriate, powered equipment
- Scrubbing, including the use of scrubbing machines, when trained to do so
- Emptying of litter bins and removal of waste to central collection areas
- Polishing, including the use of polishing machines, when trained to do so
- Glass cleaning, internal only and without the need for reach equipment
- Undertaking such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time by College Management, within the competence of the post-holder and appropriate to the grade of the post
