Highwood Boarding Kennels are looking for a part time Kennel assistant, with the opportunity to work longer hours during the spring/summer period.

A love dogs approach is a prerequisite for this position as we aim to give our boarders the best possible experience.

Working with a busy team you will be reporting to the Kennel Manager who is ultimately responsible for the day to day activities. Duties also include face to face conversations with customers about their pets upon arrival and departure.

There is opportunity to progress this position if you’re looking for a long term career working with dogs and you are able to demonstrate your commitment to the busy scheduled requirements and challenges of the shifts.

Driving license would be advantageous but not an absolute requirement.

“can do” approach is a given in terms of attitude to the job in hand. Previous experience in the kennels is required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 21 per week
