Supervisor Position - Full-time

Overview:

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee warehouse operations, including materials handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Supervise a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
- Utilize forklifts and other equipment for efficient materials handling.
- Monitor and maintain safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate and engage team members.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in warehouse operations, including materials handling and shipping/receiving processes.
- Experience with forklift operation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of commercial driving practices is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
- Prior supervisory experience in a similar setting is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24.04 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
