Primary Tutor

**We are looking for some excellent Primary Tutors in the Hackney area who have a passion for teaching to join our tutor database.**

We are looking for passionate and experienced **Primary Tutors** in the **Hackney **area with a proven track record of success in teaching students up to **KS2 Level**. Our tutors are skilled at developing and delivering engaging and informative lesson plans, assessing student learning, and providing academic support. They are also effective communicators and have a strong ability to build relationships with students.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
- Assessing any barriers to student’s learning and working to overcome these
- Monitoring student progress and producing reports
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

**To be successful in this role, you should have**:

- **Availability during school hours is required**:

- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
- Ability to work with students of all abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- **Experience working with students with SEN and SEMH needs is required**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: £30.00-£35.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)

**Experience**:

- Tutoring: 2 years (required)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health: 2 years (preferred)
