This Local Authority are focused on improving the health and happiness of children, young people and familiesby supporting them and making good change in any way possible hence why we're looking to appoint an Experienced Social Worker who is dedicated to making a lasting difference to join their Children and Family team on a locum basis. This will be an initial 3month contract however may be on a rolling basis thereafter.In Your New Role, You Will Be: Providing a clear and accurate assessment of a child and their family's needs in line with statutory guidance. To assess and balance risk and protective factors withina child protection framework. To provide focused and purposeful social work interventions with aims and objectives about desired outcomes To provide guidance and direction to family support workers and administrative officer regarding case workTo be a SuccessfulCandidate: Qualified Social Worker SWE Registered Experience within a children, young people and family environment All applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.Social work can be challenging at times and here at Aurora Resourcing we arealways here to support and guide you through each contract.
