Job Title: Production Operative

**Job Type**: Full Time

Location: Banbury OX15

Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible and reliable Production Operative

This position is split between production, packing and dispatch role.

The role involves Assisting within the production area; producing and packing premium cultured butter. There will also be a requirement to driving; covering holiday and when required.

Key Responsibilities:
Production
- Operating a variety of machinery and equipment to produce various products
- Quality control at all stages of the production process
- Cleaning all work areas using various products and equipment
- Fast-moving production environment so must be able to work quickly and efficiently
- Packing products into boxes when required
- Ensure that all work being done is to a high standard
- Completing manual handling tasks including lifting bags and boxes of product
- Reporting to and assisting the Production/Assistant Production Manager & Production Technicians
- Display great attention to detail and a sound understanding of what makes a good product. Identify problems in a product and make clear recommendations to workers on the assembly line.
- Contribute individually and collectively as part of an effective team
- Cleaning areas, sweeping etc

Driving
- Safely operate a refrigerated van to deliver perishable products to assigned locations
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Communicate with customers upon delivery to confirm receipt and address any issues
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, as well as road regulations
- Perform pre
- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and collect any necessary signatures or documentation

**Requirements**:
Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 20kg)

Valid UK driver’s license with a clean driving record

Strong communication and customer service skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Flexibility to increase working hours as needed

Working Days/Hours: 5 days per week (Mon-Fri), 40 hours per week, 8:30am - 4:30pm

Working days and shifts to be determined based on operational needs; two early morning starts per week.

Compensation: £25396.80 per annum

Pay: From £25,396.80 per year
